Inc., received a five years' recog nition plaque from the J. I. Case Company for his outstanding service to farmers at a meeting in January at Atlanta, Georgia. In presenting the awards, L. S. Devoe, branch manager, pointed out the change from 'manual to mechanized agriculture in the past quarter of a century has been one of the major factors in making the American standard-of living what it is today. "To the consumer, this progress has brought a quality and quanti ty of food and fiber unknown iu the history of the World. To the farmer, this has meant shorter and less tedious working hours, greater independence, and better living for his family. The farm equipment dealer has done much to foster this agriculture develop ment, and make this country the world leader in food production, even though less than 20% of the population is on the farm." Mr. Devoe said. The J. I. Case Company, which has manufaetored farm machin ery since 1842, presented ninety six awards in the Atlanta branch area. Of these, twb went to deal ers with 25 or more years of ser vice; twenty-one for ten years of service; and fifty-nine for five years of service. REAL ESTATE ? Buying, sell ing, rentals.
