The Friendship Class of Grace
Methodist church met Tuesday
night, March 11 in the home of
Mrs. Allen Waliace. "Beautiful
Garden of Prayer" was used as
the opening song, this was follow
ed with a prayer by Mrs, Frank
Ballard.
Song, 'Tell it to Jesus" the re
sponsive Bible leading was on
Brotherhood in God.
Mrs. Glark Wlillams gave the
Bible lesson from the 12 chapter
of Isaiah.
The president conducted a quiz
program on questions from the
Bible with Mrs. Clark Williams
and Mrs. T. J. Ellison being win

After a short business session
the meeting was closed by pray- J
the Lord's Prayer. *
The hostess was assisted in
serving chicken salad, fruit salad, !
sandwiches toast crackers, angel

immediate families attended.
The chapel was beautiful with
a central arrangement of Cathed- j
ral tapers and mixed pastel flow
ers.
A program of wedding music
was rendered by the organist of
the chapel.
The bride wore an ankle length
gown of bridal satin, with a fitted
bodice of Chantilly lace which
featured a peter pan collar, long
sleeves ending In lily points at
the hands. The full satin skirt
had panels of matching Chantilly
lace. Her cap was of matching
lace and satin with a finger tip
veil of nylon net, Her bouquet
was a nosegay of pastel sweet
peas centered with roses.
Miss Beatrice Spratt of Kings
j Mountain, sister of the bride, was
l her only attendant. Her gown was
j of aqua taffeta, fitted bodice# and

lon net. She wore a corsage of red
roses. \

The bride is the youngest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. CHnton
Spratt of Kings Mountain. She
is a graduate of Moore??boro high
School and at the time of her
marriage was employed by the
Federal Bureau of Investigation
in Washington, D. C.
The bridegroom is the son of
Herskei Irvin and the late Mrs.
Irvln of Selkink, N. Y. He attend
ed Selkink high school.
During World War II, he serv
ed with the U. S. Army in the
Vhillippiiie Islands and Japan. lie
recently returned from 17 months
service In Kor^a.
After a honeymoon in Liberty
and New York City the couple
will be at home at 1421 Monroe

9th meeting Monday night The
