LETTER , TO THE EDITOR ] >ear Mr. Harmon: This la a brief but sincere ex presaion of my. deep appreciation for the kind, editorial which I no ticed in the last issue of the Kings Mountain Herald. Your paper has always been very considerate of the Churches in the community. The generous way In which you have permitted the. use of the paper to promote the' religious life of the communi ty Is most gratifying. I have lound lew. if any. papers of its size which gives more space and publicity to matters of religious interest than the Kings Mountain Herald. I wish to thank you for the im partial way In which you conduct the news of the churches. Espe cially do we at First Baptist Church thank- you for every atten tion you have given to us. Most sincerely. T. L. Cashwell, Jr. ' Federal loan agencies were fi nancing almost three-fourths of North Carolina's farm mortgage debt In 1940, By 1950 private lend ers had again become the main source of farm credit.
