Aurand of the depart ment of animal industry at N. C. State College. Several methods for the removal of off-flavors have boon studied but none give promise of providing a general solution to the off-flavor problem. Weed off-flavors occur chiefly in- the winter and early spring. Aurand notes recent ?claims to the effect that feeding certain mi neral supplements Would prevent off-flavors hi milk.
