Miss Elizabeth Anthony Fetes Home Arts Club Miss Elizabeth Anthony was a gracious hostess Tuesday after noon to members of the Home Arts Club at her home on Pled v. mont Ave. Attractive arrange ments of mixed fall flowers and fruit added a pleasing decorative note to the spacious home. Yellow chrysanthemums, flower gardens and irultln copper and bronze containers created a colorful set ting for the small tables which were appointed for refreshments, each table held a minature vase with small yellow chrysanthe mums. When all had assembled, the hostess was assisted in serv ing strawberry shortcake and coffee, Miss Harrison took the occa sion to honor Miss Frances Car roll, bride-elect of Charlotte and Mrs. W. D. Sawyer who is moving this week to Brevard. Miss Carroll was given a cor sage upon her arrival and later a gift of silver in her chosen p'atr tern. Mrs. Sawyer was remem bered with a gift. Playing prizes were awarded Mrs. Clavon Kelly for scoring highest In bridge and Mrs. Charles McCarter for receiv ing the highest score in canasta.
