Gantt gave an in teresting program on "Mechanics, and How To Use Them." An auctjon sale of plants was held after the program. The club voted to disband during Jul>4 and August. . C. Mr. and Mrs. Hudson were members of this year's graduat ing class o? Kings Mountain high school. Mrs. Hudson attended the Plonk School- of Creative Arts in Asheville last year and was one of the debutantes presented at the Debutante Ball in Shelby on June 6. \ Mr. Hudson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Margrace -Woman's Club Plan Ice Cream Supper The Margrace Woman's Club met at the club house Friday evening with the president, Mrs. Wright Falls, presiding. The secretary and treasurer's reports were given by Mrs. Jbe Foster and Mrs. Carl Gantt. The club will have an Ice cream sup per at the club house Saturday evelng from 5 until 8 p. m. A va riety of homemade Ice cream and cake will be for sale. Mrs. Haskell Wilson conducted the devotional. The hostesses, Mesdarqes John Cloninger, Dewey Caldwell, Billle Sue Blalock and Lawrence Blan ton served tasty refreshments of fruit salad, sandwiches, and in dividual cakes with lime ice. Contract Club Met With Mrs. C. T. Carpenter, Jr. Mrs. Bill Todd of Gastonia, Mrs. Bill Shutt, and Mrs. John Charles were invited to play bridge Tuesday afternoon with members of the Contract Club at the meeting with Mrs. Charles T. Carpenter, Jr. Mixed summer flowers added a gay note of color, and between progressions. Mrs. Carpenter ser ved tomatoes stuffed with tuna salad, sandwiches, crackers, cook ies and tea.
