( Engraving courtesy Cleveland Times ) Robir.son-Beam Vows Pledged Sunday In Noon Ceremony A+ Grover Church Miss Marie Robinson and Pvt. Harry Beam, both of Grover, ex changed marriage vows Sunday at noon before the altar of Gro ver's First Baptist church. Rev. W. F. Monroe, pastor of the church, officiated, and palms, baskets of gladioli and pom-pom chrysanthemums with fern and greenery were used for altar de coration. Mrs. Gilmer Byars, organist, played a prelude of organ music prior to the ceremony, and Mrs. Ed Hamrick, soloist, sang "The Sweetest Story Ever Told" by Stults, and as a benediction, "O Holy Spirit." Traditional wedding marches were used. The bride, who entered the church with the groom, wore a Chantilly lace waltz-length gown. Elizabeth Stewart, Editor fashioned with a strapless bodice j and topped with an Eton Jacket of lace. The high neckline of the Jacket featured satin pipe-trim, and she wore a semi-cloche of lace starred with rhinestones and carried a white prayer book top ped with a white orchid and show ered with tuberoses. Mrs. Robinson had delected for her daughter's wedding a navy blue crepe dress with white ac cessories, and Mrs. , Beam, the bridegroom's mother, wore navy blue summer crepe with orchid accessories. Each of the mothers wore a cymbldium shoulder cor sage. Thomas Robinson, brother of the bride, and Bob Beam, the groom's brother, were ushers. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Robinson of Grover, was graduated from Grover high school and is employed by Minet te Mills in Grover. Pvt. Beam, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Beam of Grover, was also graduated from Grover high school and prior to entering the service, attended Howard Busi ness college in Shelby. Hfe is sta tipned with the army at the Gen eral Depot in Atlanta, Ga. A luncheon was held following the ceremony at the home of the groom's parents. Thfe table was (centered with an arrangement of pom-poms and baby's breath, and j dinner was served buffet style. For a wedding trip, the bride I changed to a pink muslin dress I with white accessories and wore I the orchid taken from her bridal bouquet. Mrs. Beam will continue to live with her parents when the groom returns to his base.
