Ful ton, Jr. Mrs. Tolly Shuford won high score award in bridge for the afternoon, and Mrs* Hal Plonk xecelved the second - high a ward. During progressions, the hos tess was assisted in serving a salad course with punch. Sum mer flowers decorated the home. First Baptist YWA Group Held Meeting On Tuesday i Regular meeting of the First Baptist church YWA group was .held laist Tuesday at the home of Miss Melba Tlndall. The meeting was opened with prayer, and Miss Norma Lee Btpes, president, called the bus iness meeting to order. Miss Tlndall, program chair man, presented the program on "My Diary For Christ' and seven members attended the meeting. A report of the nominating committee who are to appoint officers will be heard at the Au gust 5th meeting of the auxili ary to be Held at the church at 7:30. All members are urged to attend the meeting. Mrs. J. W. Watson is counsel lor for the group. Mrs. Charles Neisler Tuesday Bridge Hostess Members of the Queen of Clubs met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Charles Nels ler,. Mrs. Eddie Campbell won high score in bridge for the evening. After bridge had been enjoy ed, the hostess served a melon hall compote with ham biscuits. Only club members attended. King And Queen Of Clubs Held Meeting On Monday Members of the King and. Mrs. H. L. Campbell underwent an operation at Charlotte Memo rial hospital on Monday. Mem bers of her family said Wednes day that she was getting along "fine.". Mrs. Campbell's sister, Mr*. J. H. The quota of 125 pints was tfiort 87 pints, according to Mrs. Pride Ratterree, treasurer of the Kings Mountain Bed Cross chap ter.
