To Be Held Saturday
Annual children's Chflstmas
party in the Margrace community
will be held Saturday afternoon
at 5 o'clock.
The Christmas party, which
will feature gifts and treats for
thte children, is sponsored by the
Margrace Woman'# club, and all
residents of that community are
invited to attend, a spokesman for
the club said Tuesday.

opening devotional, and Mrs. Paul
Ledford offered prayer. A short
program was given.
During the social hour, the hos
tess served refreshments and
gifts were exchanged. The circle
meets in January with Mrs. Clyde
Whetstine. Mrs. Edna Stamey
was a visitor.

Held Regular Meeting
Regular meeting of Circle 7 of
Central Methodist church was
held Monday night at the home
of Mrs. J. C. McKlnney on Pied
mont avenue with Mrs. G. C.
Kelly, co-hostess.
Mrs. Kelly oifered the opening
devotional, using the traditional
Christmas story from Luke. Mrs.
Phil Shore, program chairman,
gave the program on "The Heart
of Christmas". The progra'm was
concluded with a Christmas lit
any and "Silent Night" sung by
the group.
Plans were completed to give
Christmas gifts to shut-ins, and
the circle was invited to meet with
Mrs. Yates Gordon in January.
Following the business session,
the hostesses served fruit cake
with coffee, mints, and sand
wiches.
