up system announced 'by the
Veterans Administration
Normally, VA said, the chocks
are mailed around the 20th of
the month. In December, how
ever. many schools and colleges
start their Christmas vacations
on that date or earlier So for
that reason, VA will make every
effort to get the checks out be
forehand.
