Drought Hay Arrived Here Kings Mountain Cotton Oil Company was a busy place last week as 25 cars of hay were re ceived for area farmers under the semi-governmental drought relief program. Under the arrangement, the dairy farmer has been able to buy hay with three-fourths de ductions on freight costs. The railroads having been shipping hay at half regular rates. In ad dition, drought ? hurt farmers have been able to secure oertlfl: cates from their county agents on which they can obtain an addi tional one-fourth refund from the federal government. The hay received here, Law rence D. Patrick, said, has been I shipped from the Dakotas, Michi gan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and Kansas.
