M' « il/t.s.s Mary Ann Broicyi Bridal Couple Honored During Weekend At Round Cf Pre-Wedding Festivities Miss Carole Plonk, whose wed ding to Bill Fenimore took place Saturday, was honored at a round of parties beginning Fri day. Mrs. Wray Plonk, the bride- elect’s aunt, and her daughters. Mrs. Bud Bumgardner and Mr.s. David Beam, entertained togeth er at a 1 o’clock bridesmaids luncheon at the Beam home in Cherryvillc. I yellow and white, theme of the wedding. At the center table, a I cage of love birds and a low ar rangement of yellow and white Garza mums was highlight of decoration. The connecting tables were al.so decorated with low ar rangements of yellow and white Garza mums with English ivy trailing the lengths of the white cloths. The yellow and white theme of the wedding was pr(‘dominant in decorations. The bride’s table was spread with cutvvork linen and decorated wiih nosegays of gar denias and magnolias. Guests ate at small tables spread with white covers and centered by ar rangements of yellow roses Miss Plonk woie a pink printed cotton dress with pink straw hat and was given a gladmellia cor sage from the hostesses. The bride-to-be took the occasion to present white shoitie gloves to her bridal attendants and her gifts to other members of the wedding party. The hostesses gave the bride-to-be a silver tray. A three-rour.se luncheon was served to 20. Mrs. Sadie Simmons lead the call to worship and Mrs. J. H. Robbs offered the evening pray er. The group sang the hymn, “To God Be The Glory”. Plonk on Crescent Circle. Entertaining with the Fred Plonks were Mr. and Mrs. Hal S. Plonk, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Plonk. Jr., Mr. and Mrs. John But ler Plonk. Mr. and Mrs. Jay H. The buffet table, spread with white outwork cloth, fclti a center arrangement of yellow Garza mums. Supper was served buffet style. Pink glads were used in floral arrangements in the living rotjm and orange glads were combined with summer flowers in the den. Seventy-five members of the wedding party and out-of-town guests attended.
