Are First-Timers
Seventy - seven blood donors
were first-timers at last week's
visit of the regional blood col
lecting unit, the ‘‘Hemogram", a
publication of the Piedmont Car-
olinas Red Cross Blood Center,
reported this week.
The article stated: |
"Highlight of the week was the
excellent bloodmobilc in Cleve
land County at Kings Mountain
on August 9. Of the fine 245 pro
ductive donors, a total of 77 were
first-timers. Someone did a real
effective job on replacements, al
so. because 204 donors gave for
someone else. A total of 292 peo
ple came to give blood, and 47
were rejected.”
KMHS Registration
Begon On Friday
High school students who have
just moved into town anti who
will be students at Kings Moun
tain high schools this fall should
register at once at the new dis
trict high school plant on Phifer
road.
Principal Harry E. Jaynes said
new students may register from
9 until 12 noon Friday morning
and from 1 until 5 p.m.
Colorado is seventh in size of
