Kings Mountain's City Stadium will be the .scene of I ho contest, which will get underway at 7:30, however, introduction of the football player.s’ parents will take place at 7 p.m. Homecom ing Icstiv'ities will be at half time. A Homecoming parade will be gin Thursday at 5:30 on Wilson Street. Miss Joyce Moore will reign as Homecoming Queen and she will be crowned by Principal L. L, Adam-s during fe.stivitie.s at the game. The Compact High band will be featured at both the parade and the football game. Coach Blalock will have four seniors, four juniors, two sopho- I mores, and one freshman in his starting lineup. At the ends will be senior Jerry Garner and sop homore George Adams, at the tackles will be juniors Sherwood Moore and Denoris Perkins, the guards will be freshman Keith Jordan and senior Charlie Mc Clain. and tlie center will be Freddie Watson, a sophomore. Directing the team from hi.s^k familiar (luartorbaek p o s i t i o n^M will be senior letterman Johnny Thombs, at halfback will be junior Willie Smith, the fullback will be junior Denoris Wilson, and the flanker back will be Johnny Manning, a .senior. Coach Blalock added that Mel vin White, a senior, will prob ably see a lot of action in this week’s game. He has been side lined for the past three weeks due to an injury sustained in the Lincolnton game. Tackles Norris Hunter and Robert Strong will also .see a lot of action, i The Cobras, who, to date sport ' a 3-3 record, will go into the f game as the underdog. Through ! six games, the Rams of Coach I Robert Sanders are undefeated. Coach Blalock reports that Bel- I mont has practically the same i team as last year’s, which do- ' feated the Cobras, 25-0.
