Charles Ward Easley, officiating. Miss Susan Plonk was organ ist for the program of nuptial music and vocal selections were by Raymond Eugene McNeely, of the music faculty of Lenoir Rhyne college at Hickory. Brass tree candelabra holding cathedral candles were inter spersed among woodwardia fern in the chancel of the sanctuary. Etrusiah alabaster uitis at each side of the’ altar held massive arrangements <of white Miapdrag- ons, chrysanthemum^, and glad ioli. A cruciferv bearing a cross led the wedding party proces sional. For the recessional march, bridal attendants formed an arch for the bridal pair by holding up gold velvet-covered shepherd’s crooks. In the Lutheran sanctu ary is a painting of Christ hold ing a shepherd’s staff. Mr. McNeely sang “Lord Who At Cana’s Wedding Feast” by Buxtehude and “The Greatest Of fConfiniied On Page Three/ Miss Sandria Suzanne Whit worth became the bride of Roy Gay Stinnett, Jr. in a 7:30 p.m. exchange of vows Saturday eve ning in Bessemer City's First Baptist church. The Rev. A. A. Bailey, minister of th^ church, heard the cmiple pledge vows of the double-ring ceremony. Jimmy Busby was organist for the program of nuptial music and vocal selections were by William F. Young of Bessemer City. Mr. Young sang "Always" and “Be cause” before the anemony and “The Lord's Prayer” as the bene dict ion. The church sanctuary was lighted by candles and on the al tar were five* candelabras set with catliedrai tapers against a background of ivy, gardenias and magnolia foliage. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of Dulcet satin and import ed rose i:attern Alenccm lace. The empire lace bodice was styled with scallopt'd Sabrina neckline and encrusted in pearls and crys tal clusters. Miniature lac-e cover ed buttons closed the back, and elb«jw length sleeves were finish ed with lace scallops. The A-line skirt was enhanced by miniature satin bows at the hipline. The bride’s wt'dding gown was a formal design of peau de soie and Brussels lace with lace cathe dral train sweeping from the neckline of the gown to the full length of the dress. She wore a fingertip length veil of illusion held by a bow headdress and car ried a bouquet of white roses centered by an orchid.
