Annual reports will be made by 49 church pastors on the dis trict. The Rev. T. C. (Jack) Sanders, Jr., of Charlotte, will give his an nual message as the district su perintendent. He will announce plans for the 1968-69 year. DLs- trict officers will be elected. Dr. Samuel Young, of Kansa,s City, Mo., will be the presiding general superintendent. He was re-elected to his sixth 4-year term at the I7th General Assembly of •ho church at Kansas City in June. This Is the highest elec tive poslHdn^n the church. "■« The district assembly will hear reports from delegates to the quadrennial general as-sem- bly at Kansas City which were attended by about 35,000 persons. Highlights there included the election of three new general su perintendents. The denomfnafioii has a World membership of over 453.000 per sons. It has more than 1,000,000 p«'r. sons enrolled in Sunday school. World offices and a publishing house are in Kansas City, Mo. The 18th General Assembly will be held at Philadelphia in 1972.
