She is granddaughter of Mrs.
Minnie Lee Caskey of Coneojd
and Calvin P. Sigmon of Maiden.
The bride taught at East Meck
lenburg high school in Charlotte
last year. This summer she has
been employed at Celancse Cor
poration in Charlotte.
The bridegroom, who earned

lace was re-imbroidered with
lace motifs. The empire bodice
was styled with short sleeves
edged in lace flowers and the

shoulder-length veil of silk illu
sion was attached to a lace head-
piece and she carried a cascade
of Marguerite daisies.
Miss Anne Lovcllo Davis of
Charlotte wa.s maid of honor.
She wore a floorlength empire
dress of tangerine Serrano linen
with matching headdress and
carried a matching bouquet of
carnations.
Honorary bridesmaids were
Mis.s Ev'elyn Morton and .Miss
Charlotte Wise, both of Charlotte,
college roommates of the bride,
and Miss Sandra Lackey of Tho-
masville, the bride’.s cousin. They
won* pastel dresses and wore car
nation shoulder corsages.
The bridegroom's father was
best man. Jerry Scott Caskey of
Charlotte, brother of the bride,
ushered with John Jennings of
Scranton, Pa.
For her daughter’s wedding the
bride’s mother wore a'mint green
linen dress trimmed with white
embroidery, matching accessories
and a white orchid Moulder cor-
.sage.
The bridegroom’s mother chose
powder blue linen overlaid with
lace witit dark blue accessorie.v
and a white orchid shoulder cor
sage.
Miss Pamela Whitl(?y, cousin
of the bride, kept the guest regis
ter in the ve.stibule of the church.
For a wedding trip to the
mountains of Western North
Carolina the bride wore a white
linen A line dress with rod and
white coat, white accessories and
the orchid her mother wore in
the wedding.

The bride and bridegroom were
honored at a Friday night post
rehearsal party given by Mr. and
.Mrs. Floyd Thurman Caskey at

Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor
Sunday dinner Sunday to buy fire-fighting equipment
tor the department.
The menu will feature chicken or harn with acces
sories and serving will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m.
Families who attend may prefer to eat at tables in the
fire department or take their plates home, said Fred
Tate, a member of the fire department.
Plates will be $1.50 for adults and 75 cents for
children, said Mr. Tate.
"The New Sounds" will play for a dance Saturday
night sponsored by American Legion Post I 55 for mem
bers and guests at the American Legion Hall.
Admission is $3 per couple and dancing will be
from 9 p.m. until midnight.
