Lohr honored Miss Beth Houser, February bride-elect, at a dessert bridge party Saturday at her home. Sharing hostess duties with Mrs. Lohr were Mrs. George W. Plonk and Mrs. Aubrey Mauney. The 20 guests Included two from out-of-town: Mrs. H. B. Wolf of Charlotte and Mrs. Mart Retd of Gas tonia. Bridge prizes went to Mrs. W. L. Ramseur, high score: Mrs. William Herndon, second high; and Mrs. John O. Plonk, traveling prize. The dining room table held a cupId vase of pink miniature roses and snowdrift chrysanthemums as central decoration. The bride's place was marked by a wedding bell and her gift, a cream and sugar pitcher In her china pattern. Smaller tables were centered with small cupIds holding rose-mum arrangements.
