tion ceremonies June 2nd.

completed his pre-dental studies
at Wake Forest University. He

Jane Young Birmingham, daugh

ingham, received her Bachelor of
Music degree from East Carolina;
University at Greenville where
she earned a 3.43 average for the
four years, thus qualifying her
for the Dean's Honor Roll. ^She
will be married this summer and
will return to ECU in September!
to work on her master’s degree.
William Sloan Patterson, son
of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Patterson,
received his Bachelor of Arts de
gree from Wake Forest Univers
ity where he was a member of
the Kappa Alpha fraternity. He
will enter Wake Forest Law
School in September.
Tolly M Shuford, son of Mr.
and .Mrs. Tolly Shuford, received;
his Bachelor of Arts degree in I
business administration from
Wake Forest University. He was
a member of Alpha Kappa Psi,
business fraternity, Theta Chi,
social fraternity, and the Men’s
Judicial Board. He was a varsity
cheerleader.
Daniel Fred Neal, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Fred R. Neal, was grad
uated June 2 from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
with A.B. in English and Speech.
While at UNC, he was active in
the Carolina Playmakers, the
Readei-s Theatre, the Orientation
committee and the SNEA. He has
had leads in several Playmakers’
productions and has appeared on
Channel 4 television. He moved to
New York City Tuesday where he
has joined Cowles Communica
tions in the advertising depart
ment of “Look” magazine.

elementary education from Appa

Boone. Mrs. Kircus, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Huffstetler, is
married to Clifford (Buddy) Kir

Kenneth D. Bunkowski, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bunkow
ski, received his ddgree tn electri
cal engineering from North Car
olina State University at Raleigh.

was a member of Alpha Tau O
mega fraternity and Gorgon’s
Head Lodge. He plans to enter
Medical School at UNC in the
