Post 155 Took 3-4 Mark Into Gastonia Tilt Kings Mountain’s Juniors host Area Four's only undefeated team, 'Belmont, Saturday night at City Stadium. - Belmont Post 144’s lads are un-: defeated with a 5-0 record while KM carried a 3-4 mark into last night’s home game against Gas tonia. Rocky Goforth, the ace of the Post 155 staff with a 2-1 record, was scheduled to hurl a^^ainst Gastonia last night and could al so get the starting call against; Belmont Saturday. Friday night, Coach Bo Goforth takes his charges to Shelby and righthander Darrell Whetstine will probably toe the pitching rubber. Whetstine has a 0-1 roc* ord, having dropped a 7-5 deci sion to Morganton last Thursday night. Post 155 split four games Iasi week, whipping Bessemer City and Hickory while losing to Morx ganton and Cherryville. The K^C lads also dropped a 17*4 decision to Forest City Monday night. Next Monday, Post 155 is idle. The Mounties were originally scheduled 10 play Henrietta on that date, but Henrietta is no longer in the league. Next Wed nesday, post 155 is host to Granite Falls and Goforth will have enou h rest to go again. .Saturday’s home oponent. Bel mont, has plaved only two close games thus far.
