Junior bridesmaids were Dana Katherine Green and Jo Ann Green, nieces of the bride. Kath erine Leann Gilbert, niece of the bride, was flower girl and Thomas Jeffrey Gilbert, nephew of tlie bride, was rlngbearer. All the .adult bridal attendants wore formal gowns of pink chiffon over taffeta lavi.shly trimmed with white Vcnlse lace at the cuffs of the long slpeve,s, the high .stand up collars and down the front of the tHKHices. Their headpieces were of imported horsehair braid loops enhanced with dycd-to-match flowers and trimmed with jjearls and dropped with four tiers of silk illu.slon. They carried bouquet.s of pink and white carnations tied with pink satin streamers. The flower girl and ton tor brlde.smalds wore long gowns of pink Sakl with accordion pleated bodices trimmed with multi col ored floral braid. The cuffs on the long sleeves and the high neck lines were outlined with the braid. They carried smaller bouquets like those of the adult attendants. Ted Hugh Wright was be.st man for his brother. Groomsmen were Robert Marvin Byars, Jr., brother of the bride; Thomas Lee Gilbert, Jr. and Jo seph Lee Green, brothers-ln-law of the bride; Michael Theodore Ledford, cousin of the bride; Roy Ernest Mcdlin and Richard .Mw- ris White. Miss Margaret Ann Ledford, cousin of the bride, kept the bride’s book in the vestibule of the church where the bridal par ty formed a receiving line to greet wedding guests after the ceremony. The bride’s mother wore a mint green linen dress trimmed in matching green lace with match ing accessories and a shoulder Ilf wilite carnations. Mrs. J. T. Green, maternal grandmoth er of the bride, chose light blue I with black accessories and a white shoulder corsage. 1 The bridegroom’s mother wore a robin blue sheer dress with gold trim and matching accessories. | Her .shoulder corsage was of whlu.- carnations. For a wedding trip to Atlanta Ga., the new .Mrs. Wright wore a brown and white linen coat anc. dress ensemble with matchln; accessories and the orchid lifte,. from her bridal bouquet. Mrs. Bob Hullendeir directed ith wedding. BRIDE AND BRIDEGROOM Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marvin By ars of Kings Mountain are par ents of the bride. She is a 19G graduate of Kings Mountain higi ■ school and a recent graduate o Appalachian State University a Boone where she majored in Enp lish. She will teach in the Ashle. Junior high school In September. The bridegroom is the son o Mr. and Mrs. Forest Williairr. Wright of Kings Mountain. He is a 1967 graduate of Kings Moun tain high school and has com pleted bvo years seiwice duty with the Army. The npwljweds will be at home at 107 North Gaston street. Out-of-town guests were from Grover, Gastonia. Charlotte. Burnsville, Winston-Salem, Shel by, Ellenboro, Lenoir, Lawson, Mo., Norfolk, Va. and Morganton. Mrs. Throneburg Back From New York Mre Y. F. Throneburg has re turned rfrom New York City -af ter a three week’s visit with her son, James Throneburg. Mrs. Throneburg’s grandchil dren, Billy and Pattie Throne burg, tlew from Salt Lake City. Utah, for a visit with the Throne- burgs. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Throneburg. The Throneburgs did night-see ing in New York and attended a Broadway play. Breakfast was served buffet style from a table spread with white appointed with silver candelobnim holding pink and white candles and flowers.
