Thursday, December 16, 1971 THE KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD, KINGS MOUNTAIN. N. C. IP8 I Business Oil during October, Bu.-iiness activity in North Car olina subsided slightly during Oct ober following an unusual month in September. The September bus iness surge was at least partially attributable to apparent irvitial enthusiasim for the President’s now economic program. The slight ipause in Octciber could 'be described as a return to the gr(;wth pattern consistent with activities in recent months. This placed tile level of business activity at 2.7 percent above that of Septem ber 1970, and 15.2 percent albove it;: 1937 average level. M'Oa ion continued to slow down as consumer prices on a U.
