LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Editor,

I have Ix^en loading with in

hi'-ormation I gather by reading
the news releases and mws stoiv

of Kings Mountain are to bo
“agog”i “excited" and or "proud"
that sach an event is happening
“right here before our \ery
as one writer expressed it. Since
the avo^ved purpose of the pro-,
■ducers of the film is to . get
an ‘R’ rating for the film liased
on the dialogue" and since, ac
cording to newspaper r<*^^ports, the

and "indignant" wouM best d('- I
scriibe my attitude toward this;
endeavor which is taking place:
“right before our eyes." j
ly is to bo pictured in this film
will only weaken and ttmd to de
stroy their moral fit er. It is also
wt‘ll kn; \vn that the "K" rating
on a film is no ':a?'r;er to young
sters under the age guidelines
who are wdlling to pay the ad
mission price. The operators of
movie houses are in the business
to make money and most of them
don’t turn much away.

WE APPRECIATE THE
EFFORTS OF NURSES
Some of our most favorite persons are the
nurses. They never seem to feel they have done
enough and are always trying to do som^^thing
more. They never seem to tire or lose their
cheerfulness.
In the bread category of nursing there are
those with Ph.D.’s college degrees, hospital di
plomas. a greatly increasing number of licens
ed practical nurses and to further complicate
things, more end more males axe now in the
nursing profession. One ond all we greatly ap
preciate their efforts and feel privileg<ed that a
