floor-length cloth of white
lace and held a sUver
candelabrum at the center
with white tapers and red
and stiver arrangement. A
three-tier all-white cake at
one end of the table was
topped with bride and
groom figurine and topped
with sUver 2S. A silver
punch bowl at the opposite
end of the table held straw
berry punch. Stiver ap
pointments held sand
wiches, cheese straws, and
mints.

Mrs. Crawford, the
former Betty Hawkins and
her husbsmd were married
Dec. 14,1961 In the state of
Washington where Mr.
Hawkins was stationed
with the Navy. Both axe
natives of Kings Mountain.
Members of the Choir of
Dixon Presbyterian
Church gathered for a
CTuistmas party Tuesday
evening at Kings Mountain
Inn.
A steak dinner with all
the trimmings was served
and Christmas presents
were exchanged by the
group who also took the
occasion to present Glenn
Rountree, director, Mrs.
Tommy Berry, pianist.
and Mrs. Jackie Hughes,
assistant pianist, with gifts
In appreciation for their
service.
Mr. Rountree directed
games and entertainment.
