John Fitira Poston celebrated their Golden Wedding Day Sunday, Jan. 3 at an annl> veraary reception hoated by their children at the new Cedar Lake Com munity Center In Waco. Entertaining together were Mr. and Mrs. John Poston of Waco, Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Lackey and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Poston of CherryvUle, Mr. and Mrs. BIU McMurry of Kings Mountain and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Poston of Can ton. The golden wedding theme was beautifully car ried out In decorations and refreshments. Overlaid with candlelight satin and lace, the refreshment table, highlight of decora tion, was centered with an arrangement of yellow snapdragons, yellow mums, yellow roses and gold daisies flsuiked by sil ver candelabra holding yellow tapers. The four- tlered cake, at one end of the table, was decorated In white and yellow and topped with "BO” numerals. The cake was cut and served with vegetable sandwiches, cheese rings, sausage balls, chicken salad pastries, orange pick-ups, nuts and mints. Punch was served from a silver punch bowl at the opposite end of the table. Gold snapdragons and munru, three toplaiy trees and other arrangements In yellow and gold were used jp*!', MR. AND MRS.
