Dance Theatre Comes To County BOILINO SPRINGS - The North Carolina Dance Theatre, a touring com pany of 15 artists with a diverse repertory of classi cal aiKl modern works, will return to aeveland County for three performances, January 37, 28 and 30. ITie dancers will make two appearances at Oardner-Webb College before concluding their three-day residency with a performance in Shelby's new Malcolm Brown Audi torium, Sat., Jan. 30, at 8 p. m. BUS DRIVER COURSE Adult bus driver class room work will be offered at Kings Mountain Junior High School beginning at 8:80 a. m. on January 30 and 21. Anyone desiring more information may contact Blaine Frone- berger at Kings Mountain Senior High School. Senior citizens will be admitted free at the com pany's 8 p. m. progrun, Ihurs., Jan. 37, in Boat gymnasium. The program, a lecture-demonstration, is also open to Oardner-Webb students and the public at no charge. Scheduled for Fii., Jan. 38, also in Bost Gymnasium, is a 1:80 p. m. matinee for elementary school children. The gala performance by the ballet company will be held In Malcolm Brown Auditorium. Ptl. Mike Sanders reported that cars operated by Robert Lewis Howell, 1417 Grover Rd., and Annie Styers Clayton, Rt. 1 Bessemer City, hit on Waco Rd. when one of the vehicles stopped on icy roads in the lane of traffic. Damages were estimated at $100 to the Howell 1064 Chevy and $100 to the 1868 Clayton Chevy. Harris, of Forest City, hit on Deal Street. Ptl. Harry Martin said the Harris 1076 Fiord was making a left turn onto Deal St. when the 1064 Plymouth operated by Mrs. Parton struck it in the rear. Damages were reported at $800 to the front of the Parton car and no damsiges were reported to the Harris Ford. Passengers in the Parton car were listed as Lynn H4>ps, 14, Rebecca Ross, 10, and Amanda Parton, four. Chrs operated by John Thomas Miller, of Clover, S. C. and Shirley P. Ramsey, of Rt 2 Grover, hit on York Rd. and estimated damages were placed at $200 to each vehicle Investigating Ptl. Harry Martin said Mr. Miller was passing on the right side when Mrs. Ramsey made a right turn into Uttte Moo.
