The former Priscilla Hamilck ot Bessemer Ctty teaches sixth grade at Bessemer City West School. Dr. Mauney, Is son ot Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Mauney of Kings Mountain and Is associated In podiatry with his father la Shelby. The Jeff Maunsya were married last July and reside In Sedgeflald Apartments In Shelby. Mrs. Mauney, daughter of Mrs. J. T. Hamrick ot Bessemer City and the lata Mr. Hamilck, has taught In the elementary system for five years. She Is a IMT graduate of BCSIS, at tended Pfeiffer College and graduated from Limestone College with double major hi music education. Current atudenta at Qaaton College will now be able to continue their etudlea and earn a bac calaureate degree from Oardner-Webb through either Ita Evening College or regular daytime program. Cbureee In the Evening College will begin March 3B with two coureee, cor- porate finance and U. S. government, taught over a abc-week term. Additional Evening College course offerings will be available CpI. Kenneth Dover Is Promoted By The Anny Kenneth W. Dover, 19, eon of Mrs. Mildred Dover, Orover, N. C., recently was promoted to Army corporal while serving as a gunner with Battery B, let Battalion of the 6th Field Artillery at Ft. Bragg, N. C. Q>1. Dover entered the Army In July 1974. He la a 1974 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, Kings Mountain. His wife, Sandra, la with him near the fort. "Although we currently have a number of Oaston College etudenta at Qard- ner-Webb, this croperatlve program will greatly simplify the transfer process," stated President WilUama. “Oaston Cidlege students, have been quite successful at Oardner- Webb. We are pleased that the mechanics of tran sferring and the necessary counseling procedures have been worked out to enable more Oaston College students to con tinue their work at Qard- ner-Webb.” Oaeton College, students Interested In the cooperative program should see either O.
