Interment following In Mountain Rest Cemetery. Rev. Dwight Edwards and Rev. J. W. PhUllps officiated at the final rites. Mr. Earley died Saturday night. He was son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd B. Itoriey and was employed by Foote Mineral Com pany. Surviving are one brother, Robert K. Evley of Pompano Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Jack Kidd of Greenville, S. C., Mrs. James Cox of Inman, 8. Mr. Ware, one of the founders at Home Federal Savings St Loan Associa tion and an Augusta civic leader, died last Wednes day at hie home. A retired automobile dealer, he moved to Augusta In 1844 from Atlanta to operate Ware Bulck Cb. He wae one of the founders and directors of Home Federal Savings St Loan Association and a farmer vice president. He served on many dvlc, reli gious and philanthropic organizations and was a member of Augusta Country Club and the Pinnacle ClUb. Mr. Ware was past president of the Augusta Rotary Club, Augueta Boys Club and Augusta Aeeembly. He was chairman of the Richmond County Cancer Society for 10 years and served on the organization state board. He was director of Georgia Railroad Bank A.Trust Oo. Mr. Ware received his education at Duke University and was associated with General Motors Acceptance Oorp. for a number of years. He was manager in Melbourne, Auatralla and later manager of the Dallas and Atlanta offices. Mr. Ware’s parents, Edwin Lee Ware, and Margaret Mauney Ware are burled in Kings Mountain. His grand parents were Aaron Mauney of Shelby (1843- 1812) and Mary Jane Borders Mauney (1844- 1882) and Marcus Lafayette Ware of Kings Mountain (1842-1838) and Msuy Eliza Herndon Ware of C3eveland County (1844- 1806) and other ancestors on boto Bides have lived In Cleveland County over 300 years. Survivors Include hie wife, Mrs. Runa Erwin Ware; two sons. Dr. Frederick A. Ware, Jr. of Valdosta, Ga. and the Rev. Howell Cobb Ware of Jackson, Miss.; and one Bister, Mrs. John Hoyt McLaughlin of Matthews and seven grandchildren. The family has designated memorials to the American Cancer Society. Rev. James Rice of ficiated at the rites. Mr. Grant, a tree surgeon, died Saturday In Cherokee Memorial Hospital. He was son of Mrs.' Josle Juanita Grant and the late J. J. Grant. Surviving, In addition to brother and his mother, are his wife, Mrs. Alice Lucille Hart Grant; two sons, Carl Grant, Jr. and Samuel Grant of Gaffney, S. C.; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Turney, Mrs. Juanita Parris, Mrs. Barbara Henry and Mrs. Mary Westmoreland, all of Gaffney, S. C.; brothers, Edmond and John Grant of Shelbv; five sisters, Mrs. Peggy Thomas of Canton Ohio, and Mies Elizabeth Grant, Mrs. Edith Crosby, Mrs. Gladys Wright, and Mrs. Lullage Brooks, all of S'lelby, and nine grand children.
