crowned Queen of May. Paula Oreen
was Maid of Honor, Elisabeth Owens
was Flower Olrl, Jamie Orlgg was
crown bearer, and May Attendants
were Pattida Jeffers, Lee Arm
Wilson, third grade; Angela Black-
well and Lisa Osellmann, fourth
grade; Tina Llnderman and Beth

Choir On European Tour
Julie Briggs, freshman student at
Gardner Webb CbUege and grand
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Briggs of Kings Mountain, Is a
member of the Gardner-Webb Choir
which will begin a two weeks tour of
Europe on Monday.
The Choir will visit London,
FYance, Italy, Sweden, Germany
and Holland.
Miss Briggs la daughter at Mr. and
Mrs. BUI Briggs of Shelby, formerly
of Kings Mountsdn, and Is grand
daughter at Mrs. Raymraid Jenkins
of Gastonia.
