Durham announce the engagement of their daughter,
Donna Susan, to Thomas P. Baker, Jr., son of Dr. and
Mrs. Thomas P. Baker of Kings Mountain. The bride-to-
be is a graduate of Durham High School, attended
Mitchell Community College and is presenUy attending
Durham Technical Institute. Mr. Baker Is a graduate of
Kings Mountain High School and will graduate In June

at the ceremony and
deliver a challenge to the
graduates.

Hospital. Her teaching
specialty Is Intensive
coronary care.
Prior to Joining the
Gardner-Webb faculty in
1976, Miss Lipscomb was

Hospital, Columbia, S. C.
She has also held positions
at Providence HospltsU,
Columbia, IS. C., Cherokee
County Memorial Hospital,
Gaffney, S. C., and Van
derbilt University
