The empire bodice waa atyled with a horaeshoe neckline outlined with lace sprays atudded with pearls. MsUchlng lace defined the raised waistline, trimmed the full Bishop sleeves, and enhanced the ch^el train. Her bouffant veil of Im ported English tulle, was caught to a lace (Mmelot cap and she carried a round bouquet of apricot suid white roses, carna tions, and baby's breath tied with white satin streamers. Miss Roberta Miller of Hudson, slater of the bride groom, was mcdd of honor and bridesmaids were Mias Lynn White of Kings Mountain, Miss SheOa Perry of Connelly Springs, Mias Debbie McNeely of Plneola college classmates of the bride, and Miss Robin Fowler at Asheville, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Miss Amy Gilbert of Hudson, niece of the brtdegeoom. All the attendsmts wore floor-length gowns of Inter lock jersey in apricot ahsule fashioned with a scoop neckline and short. cap sleeves banded with stitched bias folds. Mat ching stitch folds accented from the waistline with string ties below the bustlines. Flowing A line skirts enhanced the gowns. They carried bouquets of apricot and white roses, csunatlons, and baby’s breath. The bridegroom’s father waa best man. Groomsmen were Gary Miller of Hudson, brother of the bridegroom; Jeff Jones and David Jones of Kings Mouitaln, brothers of the bride; and Billy Canlpte of Charlotte. Robby kllller of Hudson, nephew of the bridegroom, cairled the rings. A tiered wedding cake was central highlight for the bride’s table, decorated in the bridal colors. Jones of Kings Mountain are parents of the bride who is a graduate of Kings Moiaitaln Hlg^ School and graduated May 18th from ' Gardner Webb College at Boiling Idlings. She will be employed during the sum mer at the Mount Zion Baptist Cilwch Summer Day Camp Program at Hudson. TTie bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mra. R. B. Miller, Jr. of Hudson and is a graduate of Hudaon High School and received his degree in 1871 from Cald well Community College. He is a partner In MlUar Construction Company in Hudson. Hudson, North Carolina will be home for the newly- ' weds. Hintons Wed In Saturday Rites Church, heard the couple exchange vows of tha double-ring ceremony in the presence a< their im mediate famlUos and Mends. Agahiat a background of natural greenery, Schef- fleras and Dumbcane, the bride and bridegroom pledged vows at 8:10 p. m. on the porch of tha bride’s home which was decorated in cut garden flowers and pkik and white roses. The bride woro an infor mal wedding gown of cream chiffon featuring V neckUne enhanced by capelet effect over the Moulders of the two-piece dress which featured a long flowing skirt. After the ceremony the bride and bridegroom cut their wedding cidie at a reception hooted by the bride’s mother, Mrs. Paul Ware. The bride’s table, highlight of decoration, was overlaid with a lace cloth and held the green and white weddhig cake as MOtral highlight. Green candles were used at the Mnter of the table and green punch was served from a punch bowl at one end of the table. Nuts, mints, and cheese straws were also served. The drat segment of the program consisted of a tour of the rose garden of Mrs. Carl Mauney, who answered questions con cerning pruning, watering, fertlllxing, and clipping. Other Items of Interest were the rhododendron, camellias, figs, straw berries, and vegetable gardoB. Members then returned to Kings Mountain Savings A Loan Conference Room for a slide presentation on the planting of roses.
