on Oio wlU lUnt U of Ian Miss Hallman Entertained At Bridal Drop-In Shower Miu Jean Hallman, whose wedding to Bobby Dwyer of Shelby takes place June 19th at 4 p. m. In Patterson Orove B«4>tlst Church, wai honored Tuesday evening at a bridal drop-ln shower at the home of Miss Joy Wells on Archdale Rd. Entertaining with Miss Wells were Miss Jean Dixon, Miss Lynn Fk>wers, Miss Vanessa Beam and Miss Karen Hallman. Miss Hallman wore a white pantsuit and was presented a white orchid corsage. The hostesses presented her with a white trousseau pelgnor set and the 26 guests showered her with lingerie gifts. A color motif of yellow and green featured decorative details. Oreen punch and yellow and green party cakes were served from a table cen tered with an arrsuigement of red roses. Receiving with Miss Hallman was her mother, Mrs. Robert Hallman. Mrs. Cheshire suggests that home owners follow the examples of the city In beautifying their lawns. Under auspices of the city beautification committee and led by Ava (Mrs. Fred) Dixon, flowers and plants have added to the decor of the new Depot Center and the two mini parks in downtown Kings Mountain.
