The honored couple received with their children and grand children. Mra. Frances Hord Petty Invited guesta to the refreshment table and Mrs. Bun B. Goforth served punch and Mrs. Sarah Van Aiken and Mrs. ’Dicmas Austell cut and served the wedding cake. Presiding at a champagne fountain were Mra. Mar jorie Baity and Mrs. Shuford Peeler. Die refreAment table, highlight of decoration, was covered with a white and yellow roses, carrying out the golden we.:,alng theme. Horsdouvres, cheese rings, sausage balls, nuts, mints and fancy sandwiches were served from silver ap pointments. The gold and white wedding cake was cut and served from one end of the table and punch was served fmn a Aver punch service. Putnams Married On Friday Patterson Grove Baptist Church was the setting Friday evening for an 8 p. m. wedding uniting Miss Cbidy Sue Kiser and Doug las Ray Putnam both of Kings Mountain. The Rev. Richard Plyler, minister of the church, officiated, using the double ring ceremony. Mias Roxanne Seism was pianist for the program of nuptial music. An empire waist, A line sldrt and high neckline were features of the dress. Her shoulder length veil of lUiialon was attached to a Camelot cap accented with clusters of pearls and sequins. She carried a white prayeibook covered with lace and topped with carnations, daisies, baby's breath and greenery and showered with ribbons of Mrs. Keith Moss of Klnga Mountain was her sUter's matron of honor and only attendant. She wore a long mint green dress and car ried a bouquet of daisies and baby's breath. Junior bridea- malda were Angela Red man of Kings Mountain and Renee Putnam of Blacksburg. Leigh Ann Satterwhlte was flower Miss Ann Carol presided at the guest register. OUn Love was his son's best man. Ushers were WlUle Campbell of Blacksburg, 3. C., Larry Weaver of Shelby and Darriel Love, the bridegroom's brother of Grover. Junior ushers were Terry Rlppy of Blacksburg and Eric Stacy of Grover. Keith Caahlon carried the rings. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben M. AUlson of Rt. 3, Blacks burg, S. C., Is a 1977 graduate of BlackAurg High School. The sen of Mr. and Mrs. OUn R. Love of Blacks burg, S. C., the bridegroom Is a 1976 graduate of Blacksburg High and Is employed by Love's Fish Box In Kings Mountain.
