Miss Beason was presented a corsage of white daisies and the hosts also took the oc casion to present the engaged pair their wedding gift. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Beason of Bolling Springs, parents of the bride-to-be, and Mr. and Mrs. William Baron of Baltimore, Md., parents of the prospective bridegroom. Swimmers To Sponsor Water Ballet •j-u rn •w.t-fn .rxlfyf Star Fish Swimmers of Bessemer City will stage a Water Ballet, free to the public, Friday evening at 8 p. m. at Bessemer City swimming pool. The show Is under the direction of Mrs. Sharon Lewis, swimming in structor, and will be presented by her students In the Ad vanced Life Saving Class. In event of rain, the ballet will be held on Monday night at 8 p. m. Spectators are asked to furnish their own chairs for the show, said Mrs. Lynn. Membership Night Will Be Observed Membership Night will be observed Thurs day night at the August meeting of American Legion Auxiliary Unit lOB at the American Legion Building. Mra Jackie Barrett, membership chairman, encourages all mem bers and "Oo-Oetters” to report membershlpi obtolned at the meeting. Senior membership Is $6 and Junior membership tail.
