Moot of the returnees from last year’s varsity and jayvee teams came out for the squad. Coach Bobby Jones said the Mountaineers will go through six days of conditioning drills be fore beginning heavy workouts next week. ’Ihe team will probably practice twice-a-day beginning with the heavy drills, Jones said. ’Die Mountaineers are experienced and are being regarded as one of the teams to beat in the Southwestern 3-A Conference. They finished 8-2 last year and tied South Point for third place. KMHS returns all three of Its All- ’The annual city tennis tournament Is set for August 12 14 at the Kings Moimtaln High courts.
