In Malcolm Brown Auditorium at Shelby Hlg^ School. All proceeds are earmarked for benefit of the Cleveland County Unit of the American Cancer Society. Advance sale tickets at $2 are on sale here at Kings Mountain Drug Co., Cooper’s Furniture and Willie’s Jewelry. At the door tickets will cost $2.00. Local models will show men’s, women’s and children’s fashions as well as some of the latest hEilr styles Eind some fashions popular In the 30’s, 40’s and OO’s. Mrs. Jerry F. Wease of The Boudoir, Inc. of Shelby Is directing the show and from her shop will be featured long fOrmaJs, street-length designs, casual dresses, jeans, lingerie and khaki enhanced by designer sunglasses and jewelry. Children’s fashions will be from Shady ’Tree Craft of Shelby and men’s formal wear will be shown by Simon’s of Charlotte. Wanda Shull of ’Ihe Uptown Connection Hair Studio, who recently placed second In national hairstyling competition, will show the latest hair styles. Including the new "solar." Mrs. William Jack of Shelby will be com mentator for the show. There will be six groups of models. In cluding "Lingerie for the Lady’’: "Back To School": "On The Streets of Shelby”: "Solar Hair” "Tots Around Town’' and "After 6 p. m." Mr. and Mrs. RlchEird K. Dedmon have designed the set for the show and musical selections will be by Scott Miller of Charlotte and Robert L. Decker at plELno. During the show a number of free door prizes will be distributed. Including a weekend at a lake cottage, dinner for two at River Bend, lingerie, tennis and water skiing lessons and hair styling. Winners must be present. Fifty-one models will perform against a background of fall trees created of silver colored leaves with a grand piano In the center of the stage where Robert Decker, director and conductor at the Gard ner Webb College or chestra, will provide music for the show. 4«0Z.
