KMJH Patriots Win One, Tie One Hullender’s team, which went Into the action with a perfect 8-0 record. Gault’s team copped three of four from Johnny Dye’s team. John DlUlng led his bowlers with a 148 line, the highest to date, and a 380 set. Harvey HuUender had a 111 game and Stony Jackson scored a 298 set for the losers. Gault had a 140 line and 347 set and Clarence Plonk added a 318 set to lead the Gault team to victory. Dye led his team with a 130-869. Kings Mountain Junior High’s foot ballers won one and tied one last week, the Jay- vees trouncing Grand view 84-6 here Wednes day and the varsity tying Grandview 6-6 on ’Thursday In Hickory. ’The results left the Jayvees with a 8-0 .record, heading Into a Wednesday game at Bums and the varsity at 2-0-1 heading Into a home game Saturday with Bums. Penalties plagued the varsity Thursday as the Patriots were assessed 160 yards and had three touchdowns called back. Chris Wright scored the lone KM touchdown on a two-yard run. KM attempted to run for the two-point converslm, and went Into the end- zone the first two tries only to have It nullified. They failed the third time. An apparent touch down following a fumble recovery early In the first quarter was nullified and Coach Joe Spel^t said he felt like that dampened KM’s spirits.
