S. Plonk of Bessemer CSty. She Is a 1976 graduate of Salem college In Winston Salem.. Mr. and Mrs. WlUlam Engs Babcock, Sr. of Cler mont, Oa. are parents of the bridegroom who is a 1976 graduate of the Uni versity of Georgia. Dr. Randolph Taylor officiated, using the double-ring ceremony and Robert Stlgall was or- 'ganlst for the program of nuptial music. James B. Hunter, Dr. and Mrs. Richard T. James, Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. W. King, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Perrin, and Mrs. WUllam B. Webb. After the reception, the newlyweds left the club In a restored Amish horse- drawn carriage decorated with dowers and "Just married" signs down a driveway lighted with hurricane lights and candles.
