The bride-to-be Is a 1970 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, a 1974 graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College with B. A. degree and a 1976 graduate, with M.A., from Western Carolina Unlverelty. She Is Physical Education Instructor at Oest Senior High School and coaches Girls Jayvee basketball and Girls varsity track. Mr. Hamrick Is a 1971 graduate of Crest Senior High and Is employed by Southern Screen Products In Shelby. Tne wedding will be an event of Oct. 7 at 4 p. m. In Saint Matthew’s Lutheran Church. Midview Baptist Church provided the setting June 8 tor a 3 p. m. exchange of wedding vows uniting Miss Margaret Ann Moss and Larry Wayne Austin. The couple exchanged vows of the double-ring ceremony before the Rev. Fred Wells. The altar of the church was arranged with basket of rainbow-colored sum mer flowers with a kneel ing bench at the center Itoldlng three tapers for the Unity Candle Service. Two five-branch can delabrum were at either side of the setting. Mrs. Ethel Wells was pianist for the program of nuptial music. J. B. Moss escorted his dster to the altar and gave her In marriage. The bride’s wedding gown was a fornud design of white bridal satin and Rosepolnt lace featuring V neckline and long, titered sleeves enhanced by satin buttons. A ruffle at the hemline enhanced the long skirt which ended In a chapel train. Her fingertip veil of Illusion was attached to a satin headpiece and she carried a bouquet of blue Drive Is A Success The recent Kidney Foundation of North Caro lina fund raising drive In Kings Mountain was a success, according to Mrs. Chsu-les Blanton, chairman of the drive. The drive was qionsored by the Kings Mountain Woman’s Club. ’The drive, held Mar<^ 17-19, produced a total at $300 In Kings Mountain. Money raised In the drive will be used for research, public and professional education programs, patient services and the Kl(Mili]|'' Foundation’s-, organ donation program. All money received In the drive Is tax deductible by the donor. Miss Lisa Sanders at tended the bride as maid of honor and only attendsuit. She wore a beige formal and carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations and blue ribbon. Patricia Moss, who was flower girl, wore a rain bow-colored formal and carried lace basket filled with white carnation petals. Randy Hord was the bridegroom’s best man. Ushers were Ray Hord and Rodney Short, nephew of the bride, both of Kings Mountain. The bride and bridegroom cut a heart- Aaped wedding cake after the ceremony at a reception hosted by the bride’s mother In the church fellowship hsdl. Yellow roses and white doves topped the bridal cake which was enhanced by tiny hearts. Barbara Sanders cut and served the wedding cake and Nancy Moss and Annette Short served punch.
