Mr. Harbiaon waa a native of Cleveland County and a maintenance em ployee of Duke Power Company. Ha waa a member of Tryon Lodge No. 8, a Myatlc Shriner and a deacon In Old BUla Chapel BapUat Church. Ho waa aon of the late Holly and Minnie Harbiaon. Surviving are hia^wUa, Mra. Annie Belle Har biaon; two daughtera, Mra. Margaret Lockhart of Shelby and Mra. Qeraldlno McOlU of Orovar; a alater, Mra. BerU Cline of Lin- colnton; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Bnloe Mortuary waa in charge of arrangementa. SHELBT - Jamea Roy Mode, 63, of 303 Park St., father of Mra. Margie Rae Mode Van Dyke, of Klnga Mountain, died Sunday in Cleveland Memorial Hoapttal. He waa a native of Cleveland County and waa employed aa a mechanic by Safety Teat and Equipment Co. Ha waa a Navy veteran and a member of Peach Street Baptiat Church whore ha aerved aa a deacon. Alao aurvlvlng are hla wife, Mry White Mode; two aona, Julian R. Mode and Jamea Mode, Jr., both of Char^tte; four brothera; one ^er; and 11 grand- chlldien. Funeral aervlcea were held Wedneaday at 3 p.m. from Peach Street Baptiat Church by Rev. Wedneaday by the Rev. Macon Wood. Gravealde Bervlcea are scheduled for 11 a.m. today in Mountain Rest Cemetery with full mllltaiy honors. BlackweU, 60, of 8014 Huntley St., Spring Lake, formerly of Klnga Mountain, died Monday. He waa a retired technical sergeant in U.S. Army. He was the aon of the late WlUlsun Erwin and Belvle Peteraon Blackwell. Survlvora Include hla widow, Mra. Sarah E. Blackwell; three aona, Johnny, Wayne and Douglas Blackwell, and one daughter, Mias Jane E. Blackwell, all of the home. Harris Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
