Tuewlay, June 1>, l«T»-MlRIIOK-iaCRALO-Page T Programs Set At Park Evening progranu will continue at Klnga Moun tain National Military Park on Fil. and Sat., June 10 and 10, In the park amphitheater at B p.m. Friday’s evening program will be the film "To Keep Our Uberty”, the story of Minute Man National Historical Park. ‘Ihrough the eyes of a patriot this film enables us to see the events that led to the first shots fired during the American Revolution. Ihls film will be presented by Norris Wlke, a geology major In his junior year at Elisabeth City College. Saturday evening's program will be a can dlelight lantern tour of the Kings Mountain Battleslte. John Clssell, who Is one of the permanent rangers at Kings Mountain will be leading the tour. He will be dressed In 18th Century clothing and will be playing the role of one of the battle participants. This Is the first time that a guided walk of this type has been conducted here at Kings Mountain. Whether you have walked the battlefield trail before or have never walked It, this will be a very rewarding experience for everyone who participates. The Living History program will also continue on Saturday and Sunday afternoons near the visitor center with rifle and musket firing demon strations at 1, 3, 8, and 4 p.m. The public Is Invited , to all of the programs. Although there Is no routine laboratory procedure for determining the presence of specific disease-producing bac teria In drinking water, coUterm bacteria which Is normally found In the intestinal tract of man or other warm blooded animals can be readily detected.
