Recognition waa made of the officers who attended the North Carolina Jaycees Local Officers Leadership College and each were presented a diploma of graduation. Also recognised were Alvin Morets, Mike Neely and Allan Props! who will attend the United States National Jaycees Con- veiiuoil ill Naiaavaiii, TOk'Ui. Cliff Whitfield received a certificate of appreciation for his chairmanship of the Jaycee car wash and he announced another community car wash planned for June 38rd. Larry Hamrick, Jr. discussed the upcoming Jaycee yard sale which will be chaired by Carl "Herbie” Morrow. This event will be held uptown on June 80th In coor dination with a sidewalk sale by local merchants.
