MRS. BRIDGES Mrs. Mae Sneeb Bridges, 78, a resident of Dixon School Road, Kings Mountain, died Tuesday at the Baptist Nursing Home in Winston-Salem after several months illness. : The widow of the late Hudson Bridges, she formerly served as organist and pianist at Macedonia and Temple Baptist Churches and was ‘a former matron at the Baptist Kennedy Children’s Home in Kinston. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be con- ducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church by Dr. Tom Patterson and the Rev. Clarence Bobbitt. Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery. MRS. STALLINGS (ALEXIS, N.C. - Ruth Setzer Stallings, 76, of Highway 27, died Monday in a Charlotte Hospital. 8 Surviving are her husband, Fred Stallings; three sons, Carlos Stallings of Stanley, Donald Stallings of Alexis and Fred Thompson of Maiden; four ° daughters, Beatrice Howell of Kings Mountain, Mary Meeks ~ of Iron Station, Dot Holl- ingsworth of Charlotte and Peggy Buff of Alexis; a brother, .Paul Setzer of Lincolnton; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Smith of Lin- colnton, Mrs. John Sigmon of Maiden and Mrs. Yates Schronce of Vale; 25 grand- children; and 15 great- grandchildren.
