Dixon Presbyterian Sets Easter Services Dixon | Presbyterian church has scheduled special Easter week services this week. A Maundy Thursday Com- munion service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Easter Sunrise services will be held Sunday at 6 a.m. in the front lawn of the church. Rev. «ly afterward in Graham Wood, pastor, will deliver the message. Breakfast will be served short- the church fellowship hall. Sunday School will be held at 9:45 and regular worship service at 10:20. The public is invited to attend all the services. Thirty-Three Attend Retreat At Camp Grier Thirty-three persons from Dixon Presbyterian Church at- tended a "weekend retreat at Camp Grier in Old Fort, N.C. Members ranging in ages from three to senior . citizens par- ticipated in the weekend. of fishing, boating, canoeing, swim- ming, picnics, other games and worship. Rev. Graham Wood con- ducted fireside worship services Sunday morning in one of the lodges. In his absence, Carveth Wells filled the pulpit at Dixon. Persons participating in the retreat included Rev. Penley’s Chapel Church Sets Easter Services Penley’s Chapel. Church of Kings Mountain has scheduled special Easter services. The youth will direct Easter Sunrise devotions at 6:30 a.m. Sunday and a congregational breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Sunday School will be held at . stetler, 10 a.m., followed by worship at 11 am. A special week of revival ser- vices will begin Sunday at 7 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. W.L. Huff- bring the messages. EASTER CANTATA The Easter Cantata, “Jesus Lives...Forever’’, will be presented at Kings Mountain Baptist Church Easter Sunday at 11 a.m. The adult choir will be assisted by the youth choir and older chidren’s. choir. “This is an exciting cantata that leads us beyond the empty tomb to discover the hope that can be found today in Jesus Christ,” said Jeff Jones, Minister of Music. The public is invited to alien] GOSPEL SINGING There will be a gospel singing at the Eastside Baptist Church in Blacksburg Sat., Apr. 17 at 7 p.m. Featured groups will be the Cannon Quartet, The Royals of Gastonia and the Hampton Quartet of Blacksburg. The public is invited to attend. REVIVAL Revival services will be held April 26-30 at Eastside Baptist Church in Blacksburg. Guest speaker on April 26, 27 and 28 will’ be the Rev. Edward McAbee of Gaffney, and the speaker on April 29 and 30 will be the Rev. Kenneth Ridings. There will be special singing by the Eastside Baptist choir, Eastside Trio and the Eastside Band, and a nursery will be pro- vided. The Rev. M.P. Hampton, pastor, invites the public to at- tend.
