Stanley County Mental Health
Association, the Democratic
Party and the Stanley County
Cancer Society. She was a
member of Love’s Chapel United
Methodist Church, where she
was an active member of United
Methodist Women and other
church activities. She was a
former correspondent for the
Stanley News and Press.
In addition to her mother and
stepfather, she is survived by her
husband, Wayne B. Love of the
home; one son, Wayne B. Love
Jr. of Stanfield; and two
daughters, Miss Cindy Love of
Charlotte and Miss Sally Love of
the home.
Funeral services were con-
ducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at
Love’s Chapel United Methodist
Church by the Rev. Paul Bell
Services will be conducted Fri-
day at 3 p.m. at Washington
Baptist Church. The family will
receive friends Thursday from 7
to 8:30 p.m. at the church.

James “Bill” Moore, 56, of
813 Phillips Street, died Tuesday
at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
A member of Vestibule AME
Zion Church, he was employed
by the City of Kings Mountain.

conducted on Parker Street,
where a muffler came off a car
and ruptured the gas tank.
On June 6 at 12:57 a.m., a fire
alarm was activated at the Kings
