pus of Gardner-Webb College has been accepted into the Na-
tional Registry of Historic Buildings. Maxwell B. Hamrick, r, of
Boiling Springs, is the grandson of the late E.B. Hamrick for
whom the Hamrick Hall is named. Judith C. Friedel, 1, Assistant
to the President at Gardner-Webb College, co-ordinated the ef-
fort to have the building nominated to the registry. Inclusion
in the registry is determined by the historical and architec-
tural significance of the building.
