rr ————————— LOU CORAN MILLER ...Bride-elect of David Paul Mauney Jr. ENGAGED - Mrs. Barbara Miller of Kings Mountain an- nounces the engagement of her daughter, Lou Coran, to David Paul Mauney Jr., son of Pauline and David Mauney of Kings Mountain. The bride-to-be, also the daughter of Arnold Miller of Kings Mountain, is a 1980 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and a 1981 graduate of Gaston College, where she received a diploma in Radio-TV Broadcasting. She is employed by WCCB-TV in Charlotte and TG&Y in Kings Moun- tain. The prospective bridegroom is a 1977 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is employed by The Great Domi- nion Corporation. The wedding will be held November 27 at Second Baptist Church. Kings Mountain District Schools * will host the North Carolina Symphony November 10 at B.N. Barnes Auditorium. The Symphony will entertain students in’ grades three, four and five on the morning of the 10th, and will perform for the public at 8 p.m. Mrs. Shirley Austin, Elemen- tary Music Teacher, is busy preparing the students for the concert.
