f Thursday, March 6, 1986-KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Page 9A ; Property Damages Minor Property damages were ‘minor in three automobile ac- cidents which occurred in the city this week, according to the Kings Mountain Police Department. Dennis Goins, Route 6, operating a 1974 Chevrolet in the parking lot of Kings Mountain Auto Supply, struck a parked 1978 Chevrolet owned by Delores Queen, 815 Church St. Damages totaled $275. Hunter Taylor, 111 McGill Farm Road, operating a 1973 Ford which was damaged $100 struck a 1980 Pontiac, which was damaged $100 and operated by Betty Spencer, Route 1, on East King Street. Tina Anderson, 812 West Gold St., operating a 1983 Ford which was damaged $350, struck a 1984 Ford, PATRIOTIC CELEBRATION AT EAST SCHOOL—East School students, above, which was damaged $800 and celebrated Red, White and Blue Day in a special program recently in which local and operated by Tammy Snipes, state government officials visited the school. City police reported a quiet J E weekend in Kings Mountain : as only four incidents were reported to police. Marcellus Hopper, 425 N. Tracy St., reported that his bicycle, valued at $120, was stolen. Colean Bennett, 1000 Brookwood Dr., reported theft of her billfold. 7-11, Phifer Road, reported that someone threw a bottle through a front window and damages amounted to $200. Bridges Barber Shop, 409 Phenix St., reported that bottle-throwing vandals damaged the building. Miss Jones, a senior at Kings Mountain Senior High School, has fought the illness for several years. She was moved recentl from Charlotte Memorial Hospital to Duke Hospital. : Her parents and family re- main with her at the hospital. . A fund drive, launced by - Kings Mountain friends recently, continues and the ~ special account has been set up at First Citizens Bank & © Trust Co. where contribu- tions were reported at $320 i this week.
