Adam Brennecke won the
first annual Cleveland Coun-
ty Body Building Champion-
ship and also was Tosnnge
Overall Champion during the
recent competition in Shelby.
Brennecke, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Sid Brennecke, a 1985
graduate of Ashbrook High
School, aspires to be Mr.
North Carolina and five years
ago started a strenuous pro-
gram, working out three days
a week at Iron Bar Gym-
nasium in Shelby and then
three days a week at Carolina
Fitness in Dallas and also at
his home on a strenuous exer-
cise program, which included
{ a diet. The 19-year-old man
also attends Central Pied-
mont Community College and
works at New Hope Road Ex-
xon in Gastonia.
Brennecke came away with
first lags {rophy in the light
weight (body building) com-
petition and won overall in
teenage competition. He also ADAM BRENNECKE
took first place in the recent ....body builder champion
