Page 6A-KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Wednesday, October 1, 1986 KM Volleyball Team In First Place Kin Mountain High's volleyball team, defending Southwestern 3-A Conference champions, posted a pair of big victories during the post week to move into first place in the SWC standings by a half-game over East Ruther- ford. The Mountainettes host the Lady Cavaliers Monday at 4 p.m. Kings Mountain battles Burns Wednesday. Kings Mountain is now 6-2 in the SWC and 8-5 overall. East Rutherford is 5-2 and R-S Central and Chase are tied with 5-3 records. In action last week, the KMHS girls defeated South Point 15-8, 2-15 and 15-1. Jen- nifer Boheler and Regina Brown led the scoring with 15 Diana Bridges. ‘“Fundamen- tally, she is one of our soundest players. development of more self confidence, she should return for an exciting senior year next season.” Boheler was All- Conference last year as a sophomore and hopes to repeat the honor.
